Gangbang at Pudge's place

Since you're a proven liar (over and over again), who cares what you would give to someone?

        • Aww, did you decide not to post anonymously for once?

Thanks for trying. How's your stock picks coming along?

See, here's a good example of your lying. I don't post anonymously.

How's your stock picks coming along?

And here's another. I don't make stock picks.

            • I don't make stock picks.

Interesting. No time/money for it, or this more like an extension of your distaste for gambling? I always kinda saw you as someone who might have a small, blue chip portfolio.

I usually don't have reasons to NOT do things. I merely lack reasons to do them.

                • Inscrutable as ever.

What's inscrutable is why you should care what I think about stocks ...

                    • Curiosity is inscrutable? Handy reference for you in the future: I am a very curious monkey. I like asking questions and I like getting answers. Even if they're 100% bullshit. There's always something to learn. For example, despite your brief and requisitely pedantic replies, I've learned new things about you.

Anyway, don't flatter yourself too much. I've just found that geeks, more so than the average schlub, tend to be interested and involved in the stock market. On top of that, seeing as how yo

Context is everything. I see nothing in the context that would lead you to care about my views about stocks.

Anyway, don't flatter yourself too much. I've just found that geeks, more so than the average schlub, tend to be interested and involved in the stock market.

I've never noticed that. I know lots of people in and out of the tech business, and if anything I think the tech people I know are LESS involved in the stock market.

On top of that, seeing as how you're a proactive and capitalist-minded person, I assumed you had at least a few blue chip shares floating around somehewere.

                      I see no correlation there.

                    • Context is everything.

Is it now? Is that a new year's resolution? Because I seem to remember discussing your lack of context here. [slashdot.org] Or am I being unkind? Would it be fairer to say it was just premature?

Further, what lack of context? Did you somehow miss the question mark at the end of the sentence? The general questioning nature? You know, as in to elicit information? If you're worried I'm trying to pull some sort of gotcha or other asinine trick, why bother getting involved in the first place

                      Is it now?

                      Yes.

Is that a new year's resolution?

No, I do not "believe in" New Year's. I do not celebrate the meaningless day and I do not make resolutions.

Or am I being unkind? Would it be fairer to say it was just premature?

I wouldn't say you are being unkind; I'd just say you're incorrect. I didn't assert or imply that NOW would not do it, only that they SHOULD and I hadn't seen evidence that they had. And I don't understand what this has to do with context; as you seem to say, at worst -- even if you read that as me making such an assertion -- it's just me being incorrect, not me missing some context.

                      Further, what lack of context?

                      I did not un

                    • You didn't say "self-actualized people with a head for business and finance," you said "proactive and capitalist-minded." Many capitalist-minded people do not have a head for business and finance, and many proactive people are not self-actualized, and vice versas all around.

                      Oh. Good. Grief.

No, you don't mean that. What you mean is that I "need" to "care" about it. And I don't.

Incorrect. I don't care if you care. But it is something you need to understand when you characterize other people's m

                      Oh. Good. Grief.

Shrug. You said two completely different things.

Incorrect. I don't care if you care.

Yes, you do. Knowledge of something without caring about it is useless. Since you want me to know about it, you want me to care about it. But I don't. And won't.

But it is something you need to understand when you characterize other people's motivations towards you, which you do frequently and erroneously.

                      Frequently, perhaps. Erroneously, no.

                    • If I could only dig up where I mentioned that to/about "him" a long time ago. I'd be more impressed(maybe depressed) if pudge is a human.

If all else fails, lower your standards.
