I didn't finish using the last set I got. And I've only been here a very few times since I wrote my last JE. What gives? ;-)

No. It's been fairly well-documented that mod points invariably go to people who don't actually spend a lot of time on slashdot, or post much, which makes a certain amount of sense.

Which is why I get them about 2-3 times a year, always after some kind of "absence" from /.

slashdot is like that sorry boyfriend, the worse you treat him, the more he wants you. start posting, metamodding and commenting everyday - and you'll quit getting them :)
