Erris's Journal: M$ Spins Victory out of ISO Defeat.

Rather than apologize for bribes and other outrageous behavior that lead to defeat, M$ is crowing over how successful their behavior was and predicting victory over ISO standardization of ooxml:

Microsoft's general manger for interoperability and standards, Tim Robertson, [said] "Given how encouraging today's results were, we believe that the final tally in early 2008 will result in the ratification of Open XML as an ISO standard."

The article goes on to explain that they are far from success.
