Journal Presto Vivace's Journal: NASA scientists are refusing to submit to HSPD-12 checks

First it was the workers at the National Hurricane Center, now the worker bees at NASA are refusing to submit to abuse of power: 28 NASA scientists sue over HSPD-12 checks

NASA scientists are refusing to submit to a Bush administration directive that requires new background checks for employees under Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12.
Twenty-eight employees at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory filed a class-action lawsuit Aug. 30 against the directive, which they say violates their right to privacy.

When the history of our times is written, it will show that when the political leadership buckled, the worker bees of the civil service stood tall.
