..any?

I'm reading the Dune trilogy for the second time in my life, and the story got me hooked and has swept me across the barren world of Arrakis once agian. So I made up this little chapter that actually never happened, but which very well could have.. I found it quite easy to write, given all the necessary ingredients, and given the way Frank H. writes his books, but I'm curious as to what you think about it.

Hate it? Love it? Errors? Not interesting? Gimme the bunch..

I did read some other Frank Herbert in college, his Gowachin Law books? Whipping Star and something else, which I really liked. Maybe I was just turned off by the popularity of the Dune series, or that my brother liked it :-p

    • The movies probably suck big time, even though one is by my movie making hero D. Lynch.

The truth is, when I read his books again, it's just perfect material to go really weird with camera stuff, atmosphere and plot lines. I can't help thinking that I would be a great director, w
  • Wasn't in the mood to read something that came over as a bit heavy. Not a critisism, especially now that I know the inspiration.

    • So what I get from this is..

      - it's way too heavy
      - people do not like dune

That's ok, that's about what my gf told me too ;)
