Once again, The Register has the scoop about malware getting everyone who uses Microsoft.

When it comes to bot-infested PCs that spew spam, most of us assume the owners are newbie users too naive or careless to follow basic security measures. Think again. There's a good chance that the penis enlargement email that just landed in your inbox is from a network maintained by Oracle, Hewlett-Packard or some other Fortune 1000 company.

The article quotes Support Intelligence and Webroot data claiming that the big boys are also troubled the same way home users are, with 43 per cent of 600 global businesses having suffered disruptions because of malware infections.

  • Since it's laughably simple to avoid this, that means that the people who maintain these networks are stupid. Stupid does as stupid is, or something like that. Maybe one of them will give you a job? You'd be a great fit.

      Right, Bungi, you know how to run M$ better than HP, Oracle and other Fortune 100 firms. The only thing they've done that's stupid is stick with M$.
