  • This is a clear case of why /. is superior: Not one mention of a rod or hogshead in the entire thread.
  • I'm still mulling over whether I visit the daily WTF now that it's been watered down to worse than failure. I like most of the stories, but the loss of the name has made them lose some credibility with me.

      A neologism [wikipedia.org] is what I was thinking of.

      I don't care about the title, but the content has also changed signficantly in the last couple of months, to the point where I read it a lot less. I think Alex is trying to make it a more mainstream IT site, presumably to make money from it.
