I think I'm in love...

  • Kyle Orton was 10-1 as a starter...

    ;)
    • And Rex is 17-6 for his career.

Smartass. Now, back to the TV. ;)
      • As a Lions fan, I'd rather have either guy over Kitna.

But about the TV, it depends on the picture. I've been shopping for a new TV for a few months, and I'm being extremely picky, but so far, the Sharp Aquos looks really nice, and it's 1080p.

Of course, my criteria is also LCD, and around 42".
  • and by sleek I mean she has really small tits. I think it's hard to be in love with someone who has really small tits.
  • Those things are WAY too big!

not for their size. my 32" standard def tv weighs 180 lbs. at least with those DLPs i can still outweigh my television.

my 36" crt WEGA is 230 llbs.
    • Some Guy's 42" TV weighs 180 lbs. I am not looking forward to when I have to help him move it. It's not so much the weight as that it's incredibly awkward. I'm hoping we've invented affordable consumer-level TV-moving robots by then.

This TV should be much less awkward to move around. Plus, free shipping! How can you say no to free shipping?! :^P
  • look at one in real life and look at its closest runner ups in real life. decide which you like best. decide which price you like best. commune with your own soul. decide whether picture or price wins.
    • yeah, I'm currently torn between this one and the Samsung 61". (HL-S6187W)

Luckily enough for me, Best Buy/Circuit City carry them both. Good times, they be a comin. I'll get to view both of them side by side, which is nice.
  • I've thought about what I want to do when (or if) I want to get a large television, and my plan is to have a blank wall (or one that can quickly be made so), and buy a projector. Feed it from a Mac Mini or similar form factor box over a wireless network, so that I can move it wherever I want, and get an arbitrary picture size.
    • the 20" doesn't bother me, most receivers (good ones anyway) are about that deep, so the rack it will sit on will be deep enough (as well as designed for large TVs anyway) to handle it.

I like your idea, but right now it isn't feasible for me. (Sadly)
