Journal pythorlh's Journal: My Mountain has passed. 7

I wrote the other day that I was going to CA. My family had sprung for a ticket. Apparently /. ate that journal, but I was supposed to fly out this Saturday.

My grandfather passed away this morning.

Not much for checking the dot right now, so don't expect much by way of responses. I'll read it all later, though.

Thank you for your kind comments. It wasn't exactly unexpected, but I haven't really had time to believe it yet, either. My father is taking it hard. He's always very sensitive to death. I'm trying to be there for him.

  • I was down in CA this past summer for a friends wedding. I flew down on Friday, went to the wedding Saturday, and was going to visit with my Grandma Sunday before flying back. She passed Saturday morning. It was a difficult loss, but all the harder because I had only just missed seeing her again, so I know that feeling.
