Say whatever you want about global warming, but, um, don't say that higher-than-normal temperatures in the Northeast right now have anything directly to do with it. You do realize that the temperatures have risen like 1.5 degrees over the past HUNDRED YEARS, right? You can't actually FEEL any difference, or notice it with your senses.

Global warming proponents believe that the trend of global climate change will lead to extreme climate instability.
It's a straw man argument to oppose "Global Warming" advocates on the basis of cold (or colder than normal) temperatures in x or y locale.

Oh, I know, but the point is that they are saying that the WARMER temperatures are indicative of global warming, not that extreme temperatures either warmer OR colder are indicative of climate change. The latter is fallacious too, but it's harder to prove it is fallacious, since I can't just say "no, global warming only means less than a .5-degree increase in temperature over the whole year," but instead have to say, "well, even if you think extreme temperatures are indicative of climate change, that does
