Sometimes we developers may think what to aim at as a career goal. What do we expect to be 10 years from now? An important goal is to achieve some more wisdom. In another view, we do expect to accumulate value. And maybe avoid failures and decadence.
Well, at this poit of my life I realize that is very important to do influence over people. It's a satisfaction mechanism. In fact, a few things are more pleasant than perceiving the penetration of our culture in our fellow human beens. The act of replicate the self-born concept in someone's mind is undoubtely grateful.
As a software developer that idea seems to be non-obvious... working at some obscure system, poor expectations should arise from the absenbce of glamour of a life on the backstage of some clerks department.
