Journal Frank of Earth's Journal: War with Iraq 3
Bah, it just pisses me off how the media reports the news as if American's are not in favor with a war with Iraq.
I'll bet anything that when the House and Senate give the Ok to use force, it will be greater than 90%
The media focuses on the jackasses picketing for no war on Iraq rather than the normal joe schmoes that go to work every day, pay taxes, and want the bomb the shit out of shit hole terrorist dictators.
People of Iraq prepare to celebrate, the tyranny is about to end.
i'm glad someone will be celebrating (Score:1, Insightful)

War with Iraq (Score:1)
I've been studying this subject just to get a handle on my own opinions on the matter. I haven't made up my mind yet, though.
Pro-war side:
- Sadaam is a dictator, and is our fault.
- He's killed American soldiers and his own people in an effort to keep his cushy job.
- If he didn't sponsor the terrorist attacks on September 11, he positively cheered them after the fact, and has no problem with the idea of terrorizing us.
- He probably has the ability to bomb the crap out of us. ICBMs are scary.
Anti-war side:
- We have no proof Iraq was even involved in the terrorist attacks.
- Bush has been entirely dishonorable about this whole 'war on terrorism' piece of shit so far, trampling human rights and never acknowledging his own part in the debacle. Who's to say he would even declare actual war on Iraq? We don't want to fight another "military action" just so he can put on his presidential report card, "Didn't participate in any wars during time in office."
- If we go after every country with the potential to hide terrorists, which we should if we choose that as our reason for chasing Iraq, then we end up killing lots of innocents, all to end up looking like a country lead by a mini-Mussolini.
- The anti-war side feels Bush is declaring war solely for political reasons - the same reasons his father declared war on Iraq to protect Kuwait's oil supply. September 11, 2001 is being used as a convenient excuse.
Like I said, I haven't made up my mind yet.
