MS idiots don't understand basic concepts

  • i'm no ms fan, but i think in the context what he is saying is correct. my ppc phone is usually listed as having 64 meg of ram and 128 meg of rom. it's not really rom - but that is how the marketers advertise this stuff. a lot of them will call it flash rom - which i guess is a bit less egregious- but still not correct.
     
    but the point is, he is explaining it using the terminology that the consumer will see when they are comparing various devices.
    • If he knew the difference, he'd have written something like "Even though it's not really ROM"...

      What was written reflects his knowledge, which is obviously lacking in basic computing concepts.

To the systems programmer, users and applications serve only to provide a test load.
