Really, I'm shocked. I occasionally post Anon when I know it's something that the PC crowd will instantly mark troll or flamebait.

Well apparently /. TRACKS ALL ANON POSTS!! And not liking my occasional anonymous posts (I make a few a month, maybe 4 or 5 max) they have decided that I can't make them anymore.

Wow, so much for Anonymous Cowards!! /. knows and tracks them too...

  • Why not just let the karma system do it's job instead of karma whoring and posting stuff that will get you modded down as anon?
    • Because 1) /. favors karma whoring, and 2) the stuff I post anon doesn't tend to be flames or trolls, but it does tend to reflect a viewpoint that here on /. nearly always gets modded flame or troll (ie counter arguments to typical left wing rants). Look at some of the stuff I get modded as troll and flamebait now (I have attracted a mod down stalker btw, though it's been about 6 months since he's really bothered me). While some of it I admit might be trolls and or flamebait, you'll notice that I -did- post

        Well, yeah. Thanks to Reagan, Bush and Bush, 70% of Americans are registered Democrats now, so that kind of hostility is to be expected pretty much anywhere and everywhere these days. The Republican party lost it's nobility after Carter and became the "ME!!!!111!!!" party, and with the Libertarians often being misunderstood, the Democrats have been co-opted as the moderately conservative party.

          Secondly, no, 70 percent of the country is not registered Democrat. That's just not true. And the Democratic party -lost- tons of people to Reagan. I'm sure you're too young to recall the term 'Reagan Democrat'. More Democrats voted for Reagan than even Clinton.
