Sfing_ter's Journal: Buddy's Gone...

Buddy's gone... Buddy Blue, guitarist/songwriter/hell raiser/friend/funny mofo. Buddy was in a few different bands in his life, the most famous was the Beat Farmers w/Country Dick Montana(drummer/singer/guitar abuse), Jerry Raney(guitar/singer), Rolle Dexter(bass/dog house). When Dick died, no one was really all that surprised, no one who knew him anyway... but Buddy was not supposed to die, he was the glue, the shock absorber.

Buddy had rallied together the old members/friends and created a new band from the ashes of the Beat Farmers, (the Flying Putos), as a test that worked to the jubilation of many fans.
The Farmers had even cut an album, and were starting to appear further from home...

Buddy was a wise-ass, a fun, boisterous, irreverent guy who made you smile, laugh, and sing. He wrote great songs, and sang beautifully. I will miss his wonderful website forum
