NCalGal's Journal: Longing for something

Off to the East Coast in 4 days. To meet a stranger. How strange is this? We long for someone. I have uncertainty on several angles, but I long. I long for something. I long for something in my heart. Something real and touchable, something scaring yet exciting, something deep yet wonderously simple.

That longing is a powerful one. Through all of my divorce gyrations (it was final about two months ago), I always assumed that I would marry again. The sharing is just too good to give up entirely. The future is unknown, and we are rushing headlong towards it. :-)

Planes, Trains & Automobiles

well, not really Trains... but Buses! I've ridden buses!! 24 hours to Athens, OH and 27 hours back as soon as I possibly could! Not to mention back and forth from Northampton to New Britain more times than I could possibly count...

It's also how I met my husband. And dozens of men I dated once to a few times apiece. And a couple of pretty serious boyfriends.

It's a good way to meet people, if they can be honest about themselves (and vice versa, of course!).

perhaps this guy, but if not do not loose hope from your profile it sounds like you have a lot going for you so it shouldn't take long to find someone reliable enough to end the longing.
