I'd like to see him precisely define the difference between creationism and ID, and if he states that the Designer might not be a divine being, then ask him how the Designer came to be. No doubt some transparent rhetorical trickery wold be involved.

If he says that things appear to be designed so they must be, the follow-up comment/question should be:
1a. The underwater stones off Bimini appeared to be designed until examinations revealed they were natural features. Doesn't that negate the idea that simply because something looks designed it must be so?
2. Who designed the designer?
