Journal Arbin's Journal: Slashdot vs. Digg

Time to go away Slashdot.

After being nauseated with piss poor moderation, enundated with trolls, reading stories that serve nothing more than paid advertisement and discussion that focuses not on the topic at hand but rather on whatever I've realized that I come here out of habit. I read slashdot not because it claims to be News that Matters, but rather because I've done so since 1998.

After discovering digg, I find it vastly superior, the stories come in greater numbers, the content more entertaining/interesting, and it's users more intelligent (albeit, some obviously not so mature)

Goodbye Slashdot
