Journal FortKnox's Journal: Fantasy Football: For Everyone 9

If you are interested in joining, please comment that you want to so I can compile a list if anyone doesn't want to play this year or we allow more teams in. You don't have to be knowledgable, just willing to check on your team weekly for 16 weeks. I think asv didn't know FF, but caught on last year.

OK, so far, I got some answers (most are willing to pay for premium service, which includes the up to the second java interface during games, divisions, and other perks), though no one really cares which site to use, so I'll do some research on it.
Most are open to allowing new teams in, but I want to get the final tally from everyone (I'll send out a mass email for those that don't slashdot much anymore (like daoine). Either we give them the giant disadvantage of having no holdovers, and they'll catch up with the rest of us next year, or we give them X number of drafts before we draft to balance things out (X being the number of holdovers we get).
How about I make some options on how many people to hold over: 3, 4, 5, or 6 (3 or 4 are pretty standard, 5 or 6 may be too many).
Online draft seems to be the consensus, but we may need to do some finageling to make sure we get our keepers setup before we draft.
Draft order is like the standard NFL draft, not like the 'snaking' FF draft. Worst team drafts first of every round. The best teams get to keep the players they used to win last year.

Rules from last year:
Bah, it looks like they already took our league down, so I can't see the rules. It was the standard point system, IIRC. The team sizes were 1 QB, 2 WR, 2RB, 1TE, 1K, 1DEF + 6 or 7 benches (backups for bye weeks).

Any other questions??

Oh, and Mr.AC, this isn't an excuse to not go exercise, its a way to get more outta watching the football we were watching, anyway.
