I just submitted this: Loophole in US Law allows for Crime Spree in Idaho
According to a law professor, there is an area in the Idaho portion of Yellowstone park where you could legally commit any crime and get away with it! Due to wierd districts in Yellowstone over state lines along with a district with zero population, you can pretty much get away with anything.

Downloading copyrighted content is most definitely illegal. This includes software, music, videos and anything else that you don't have the right to copy. It's a myth that only the distributer is breakign the law.

That I'm not sure of. I'm guessing though that distribution is a "worse" offense that simply receiving, but either way it is copyright violation.

Well, with some of the more recent laws, there may be additional ones that can be piled on, but really it's just copyright infringement.

Nope, that wouldn't fix it - whatever the crime, the 6th Amendment entitles you to a trial "by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law" - and in this particular place, nobody meets those criteria, making any such jury impossible.
