Now THAT's good trolling

    • I'm sorry, I don't understand why this would be offensive. Extremeists on both sides of the immigration debate (MeCHA and the MinuteMen, for two examples) would agree that:
      1. Mexico's real purpose in denying their people an ability to make a living and sending them north is to pull the exact same tactic the United States did 160 years ago to start the Mexican American War- moving people into the disputed area to lend legitimacy to a takeover.
      2. That they've already achieved enough critical mass of illega
      • your comments are funny and offensive, just as the billboard is. I am amused.
        • I can show you websites on both sides attesting to this- so why are you offended? Do you deny that the primary purpose of encouraging illegal immigration on the part of the Mexican government (from laws that reduce opportunity and oppress native peoples, to allowing their army to be used by drug runners and human smugglers for security) is about invasion and conquest? Get past the charges of racism and being offended- and look at the facts for once in your politically correct life.
          • While I would love to see the websites you offer, my point is a different one. It is that the individuals that are "invading" California are not motivated by conquest. I freely admit that I have no idea if the government of Mexico sees them as conquerors. It certainly loves the dollars they send to family members. In any case, many of these people would love to be US citizens and see themselves as escaping the situation in Mexico, not extending it to California. Obviously it is a complex issue and one

              • Hey, my ancestors "invaded" Utah in 1847, when it was part of Mexico. Of course their purpose was to get out of the US, so they really weren't trying to get it annexed the next year.

But the US government allowed them to do it, in part, to specifically annex that and several other areas 'round those parts. Just as Mexico doesn't protect it's northern border today specifically to get as many people to move across the border as possible.
  • Los Angeles - The Angels, California - Nearest Island to heaven, Many words are from Mexico - 'Mexico' is derived from 'America'.

It will take some time to realise there's no border on the earth but only inside our mind...State is nothing but illusion.

    • You're trying to tell this to Hawk, a guy who won't even acknowledge the concept of humanity, choosing instead to lump all people into the categories "American" and "Not American"?

      Ha!

Sir or madame, shooting yourself in the foot would be more productive than talking to individuals as divorced from reality, common sense, and common decency as Mr. Hawk is.

Our thoughts are nurtured in a particular circumstances, in some place in some period of times, so if even in a slightest amount of change of our circumstances, our views and ideas are subject to change over one night.

He knows his views are something wrong, he definetely knows, and he knows how to mend his views.

That is, repeatedly he's been posting his views to a journal of very liberal person. Through this he's been definete
