Santiago has been Eden-like the past few weeks but it is clear winter, such that it is here, is near as I have my first cold of the season and my head feels filled with rising dough. Speaking of Eden, I am re-reading Jack London's Martin Eden, a book I adore. Maybe the only piece of fiction I have any attachment for at all. Yes, Martin Eden is my favorite fictional character. It is surprising that such a writer's character is not more well known. I can't wait to finish work today and go home and crawl into bed with that book.

I've been fighting off my first summer cold here... th weather has been bautiful in Miami and I'v not been able to enjoy it :(

Megadoses of C and other homeopathics have certainly made it easier though. Hope you feel better.

Are you back in Chile to work on the VLT? Sorry, been out of the loop for a while and could have sworn you were in Canada last I remember. I guess its time to sniff out your je's and see what you've been upto.

I am all better now. I stayed home yesterday and finished reading Martin Eden, and today, my head is clear and I actually feel bouncy.

I did go back to Canada for 18 months, but alas the return was poorly motivated [read girl] and anyway, I have forgotten how to be Canadian. I don't want to own winter boots. And if I want to play with snow, I will go to it, no need for it to come to me.
