I'm a fan of Malcolm X

Although as a leader I think MLK was smarter, more keen about issues, and earned the spot as the pinnacle of what everyone likes about the Civil rights movement.

But where MLK seemed to get it right from the get-go Malcolm X was a journey, a fools/heros journey. He was militant about his rights, and organized his followers while expecting a great deal from them. He demanded manhood from them, to be fathers for their children and actively pursuing that cause.
