the error everyone seems to be getting is "The CD key has already been registered with an account"
this error is coming up because EA recently changed the way you log into your account, now it is through e-mail address. So when new users register our game it is registered under there e-mail address and not under their EA Account. And, they can not log into their Battlefield 2142 with a E-mail address we need our EA Account Name.

This shocking story just in - An EA game has a major fault in it!
In other news, the sky is blue, the sun will probably rise tomorrow and a few pointless article stating the obvious were posted on slashdot.
Beware of your own belief that you are invulnerable to attack... Now you are on SlashDot, your failings and apathy are for all to see.
Beware of believing that doing nothing is doing something.... This is the Net, nothing goes away unless it's on an NT server in which case, it will prolly fail and yes - go away...
Beware of believing that you can guarantee revenues from 'packs' even after you've screwed people on previous ones. People tend to stop buying stuff if it doesn't work.
