Apple could intercede to pursue peace with an influence and patent portfolio most FOSS developers lack
Yet the blog doesn't say why they would do this. It just mentions that Apple has alot of patents. So what. If Linux came under a patent lawsuit why the hell would apple get involved? Linux is a competitor, they don't use Linux in any of their products and defending them might get Apple into a lawsuit too.
