An anonymous reader writes "I've found a story that says that in the UK, a third of homes still don't have access to the internet. That seems quite a lot! Plus it claims there's a proven link between education and internet access with the most educated likely to have internet at home. the national stats also state the obvious somewhat when it says there's a generation divide with people over 65 least likely to have the internet — which I guess possibly accounts for a lot of the 'internet-less' third of homes."
