RealNetwork Bug At Fault, Not Microsoft.. |

from the big-time-oops dept. After Rob Glaser testified before Congress that Microsoft's
Media Player "breaks" the RealNetwork's player, Micorsoft argues
that there is actually a bug in the way RealNetworks'
installers edits the registry that causes the problems. I
have looked at the
Microsoft response and
it seems easy enough to verify that they are correct. Can
anyone who actually runs Windows confirm their findings for
us? Seems Mr. Glaser has some tasty pie on his face now.
As of this post, RealNetworks hasn't posted a reply to Microsoft's
report. They're stock seems to be suffering, however.
