Seeing as how the official party window is supposed to be the 19th to the 28th...is this date set in stone?? Reason being I'm not moving to Bristol until the 23rd/24th!!

alrite, you guys win. the dates been changed. but im meant to be at a conf that week. ill see if i can bin it - but, as far as these "quiet drinks" go....NO! its a massive, big time celebration that /. is 10, so its only a fitting tribute to go out and get spectacularly hammered. plus, its a reasonably cheap night all agreed, say Arrrrrhhh

Fine, then move it to somewhere more sensible.

Somewhere, with a proper bar and cellar if you want to drink, somewhere where those who wish to talk may do so, maybe somewhere with some bandwidth.
But most of all somewhere accessible, the means central or with good transport links.
This is supposed to be a /. party, not a troll-fest.

The Watershed or Zero Degrees are both much more appealing, although I'd favour the latter so as not to run the gauntlet of city centre crowd.

There have also been posts suggesting that later date would benefit potential attendees. So if I were to suggest an event at ZeroDegrees [zdrestaurants.com] on Saturday 27th October, would anyone be interested in attending?

For those who don't know ZeroDegrees is a micro-brewery and restaurant on Park Row, opposite St. Michael's Hill and the Christmas Steps, not far from the Bus S
